The painting process will begin with a return visit to your home
by Ron. He will arrive when the sun is in the position that has
been determined to give the most dramatic lighting. Shadows, backlighting,
textures, and potential transparencies will be assessed, and then
captured on 35 MM film.
After the digital pictures have been developed, Ron will lay the
photos out and choose the best individual areas from each of the
best pictures. Sketches will begin and ultimately a final scene
will have been developed.
Ron will spend the next two to three weeks in either his Orland
Park studio or Ocala, Florida studio recreating in watercolor,
the unique “portrait” of your home.
Post Painting
You will receive an original Ron Burkhart watercolor
painting. This one-of-a-kind piece of art work will not only capture
the unique beauty of your home, but also all of the memories that
will now be passed on to family members for generations.
